I’m Deborah A. Bailey, and years ago when I started the blog, it was to share posts about my book, “Think Like an Entrepreneur: Transforming Your Career and Taking Charge of Your Life.”
Even though I was in corporate for quite a few years, I was never at home there. Never felt like I could express myself or my creativity. Sure I had success, and enjoyed my work – at least some of the time! But overall, I knew I belonged in a different environment. So, I left corporate and decided to do my own thing as a freelance writer.
But over the years I realized what I really, really wanted was to write novels. Which is what I do today–in addition to giving workshops on writing and publishing, hosting a podcast for women entrepreneurs, blogging and taking on the occasional marketing writer contracting gig.
My Think Like an Entrepreneur blog is now called, Soul of Entrepreneur. I post about motivation, doubts, fears, success — all the ingredients of an entrepreneurial life (which is more than the actual nuts and bolts of business ownership).
It’s a mindset, a way of thinking and being and living with a dash of constant growth, self-reflection and the willingness to keep moving and evolving.
